The United Jewish Congregation of Hong Kong
is firmly committed to maintaining the privacy
of visitors to its Web site and to the privacy
of it's members. The
following discloses our information gathering
and dissemination practices for the following
Web sites: http://www.ujc.org.hk (the UJC
HK Web site). By using thise site,
you consent to the terms and conditions of
this privacy policy. The UJC HK reserves

The UJC HK believes that personally identifying

e-mail address or telephone number, is private
and confidential. You can have general access
to our site without providing any personally
identifying information. The UJC HK, collects

you voluntarily submit it, such as when you
e-mail comments, request information, sign
up for membership, or register for
an event.
Release of Information to Third Parties
The UJC HK does not release your personally

or safety of the UJC HK or our Website users.

We use your e-mail address and IP address
to help diagnose problems with our server,

navigate through and use our site. Your IP

An IP address that is collected on our site
becomes the property of the UJC HK. The UJC
HK does not sell, market or distribute these
addresses to any other organizations and

On certain parts of our site (mainly registration
forms and catalogue orders), users are required
to give contact information (such as their
names and e-mail addresses) and unique identifiers
(such as passwords, account numbers or congregational
information). This information is used to
send users the information they request and/or
to fulfill orders that are created online.
The contact information may also be used
to contact the visitor when necessary. Unique
identifiers (such as account numbers and
passwords) are collected for use as account
numbers in our record system. Congregational
or account information submitted by users
may be used to verify and protect users identity
when they are conducting online transactions
through our Web site. The UJC HK may use contact
information to distribute news it deems of
general interest to Reform Jews. Users may
opt-out of receiving future mailings (see
the choice/opt-out section).

The Web sites covered by this policy contains
links to other sites. The UJC HK is not responsible
for the privacy practices or the content
of other such Web sites.
Online Order Forms
Our sites uses or will in the future use
order forms for customers to request information,
products, and services. We collect visitors'
contact information (i.e., their name, phone
number, e-mail addresses, congregation, position
held in congregation), we currently so not
request or collect any unique identifiers
(account numbers, passwords), and financial
information (account or credit card numbers).
Contact information from the membership form
is used exclusively to send information
about our organization to our visitors
who request it. The visitor's contact information
is also used to get in touch with the visitor/member
when necessary. Users may opt-out of receiving
future mailings by contacting the UJC HK
office at ujc.org.hk.
Information that is collected on online
forms becomes the property of the UJC HK.
The UJC HK does not sell, market or distribute
this information and will not use it for
purposes other than indicated in this privacy
policy.
